Meet The Crowd Magazine at the Event Production Show
The Crowd magazine will be attending this week’s Event Production Show. The conference, which is taking place over two days at Farnborough International, is scheduled for Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th May 2021. Anticipation has been building up across the industry for what will be the sector’s first major event in over a year since the Covid-19 pandemic began. Individuals and organisations across the events industry are looking forward to catching up with friends and acquaintances after over 12 months of virtual events.
Professionals from every part of the events industry are gathering, including crowd safety experts, concert promoters, festival organisations and production companies. On show throughout the duration of the conference will be the latest products and services across staging, AV, equipment hire, event technology and security. Furthermore, it’ll also play host to a stellar list of key event industry speakers discussing event sustainability, hybrid events and the challenges facing grassroots festivals. Individuals such as Controlled Events Chief Executive Rob Walley, will also be giving critical safety and security talks on the MEI Stage.
Attendees can also take away valuable learning from the exhibition’s SAFEST Stage; an education, training and discussion forum covering event safety and security, crowd safety and counter-terrorism. The stage, which is sponsored by Storm 4 Events Ltd, will be featuring talks by Director’s Steve Blake and Garry Jones on day one. Eric Stuart, Chair of the UK Crowd Management Association, will also be giving a talk. Day two see’s Andy Hollinson of The Square Metre Group and Emma Parkinson hold further discussions.
