Carlisle Support Services is one of the leading suppliers of value-added solutions across the public and private sectors in the UK and Ireland.
Employing over 3,000 people, we focus on the provision of cleaning, security, events and retail facilities support services.
We have established resilience, readiness, control and communications capabilities in a variety of stakeholder environments globally. Clients come back to us year after year and retain us to help them manage risk, respond and recover from incidents, grow their events, protect their reputation and to manage the insurance and litigation activity following an incident.
Since 2014 our aim has been simple; to arm learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence to grow, both personally and professionally.
We are extremely proud to be the world-leading training provider in crowd safety training. This is where we started.
Our name of our parent company, The Square Metre, is derived from the mathematics of crowd density; the number of people per square metre.
The formation of our business, back in 2014, sought to address a fundamental skills gap and shortage of crowd safety professionals. From this, our portfolio of qualifications and courses naturally grew, driven by demand from clients all over the world.
Today, we utilise our skills to work in partnership with businesses, local authorities, global brands and awarding bodies to develop innovative learning experiences.
Search the internet and you will find thousands of training providers, but very few can rival the fun and enriching learning experience offered by our team.
As a flexible, dynamic business, the team here at Dynamize Marketing take great pride in being able to work with clients in any industry, adapting our approach to provide innovative, tailored solutions.
It’s led to us working with a wonderful array of customers across the retail, arts, recruitment, beauty and education sectors, turning our talents to some rather unique projects.
Yet there’s one industry in particular in which we’ve really caught the attention; the security sector.
Historically, it’s an industry that has had a poor relationship with marketing. Whether that’s due to a wider lack of appreciation or a resistance to change, we’ve had to prove on multiple occasions exactly how we can take a business to the next level.
We have a wealth of experience
First and foremost, it’s a case of demonstrating our credentials. We’ve worked with a host of companies, including those with global imprints, such as Crowd Safety Training.
We have led projects ranging from website builds and SEO strategies through to entire organisational rebrands.
Like many industries, word of mouth prevails and we’ve been fortunate enough to see positive feedback regarding our work spread around the sector, enabling us to develop business relationships with a number of key decision-makers.
We understand the market
Of course, there’s also our publication The Crowd Magazine, opening access for our customers to a platform unlike any other agency, reaching the international crowd safety and security market in over 58 countries.
Through our work with this industry-wide publication, writing editorials, designing artwork and developing branding, we’ve been able to develop a quality portfolio of clients, serving to grow our knowledge of the market.
Through our publication, we have worked in partnership with businesses and organisations across the world including the Event Safety Alliance, the UKCMA, Chronosoft Solutions, Crowded Space Drones, OnePlan, Crowd Safety Training and many more!
So, how can we help when it comes to marketing your security company?
We’ve got a wealth of experience working with event security companies across rebrands, website design, content marketing, traditional methods and social media services. We can even manage your marketing activities, acting as an extension of your business whilst you do what you do best.
One of our most popular service right now is for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). More than ever, companies are waking up to the importance of ranking highly on major search engines such as Google, and we have identified this as a major gap in the marketing tactics of many security businesses.
From international sporting events and concerts to world-class retail and transport hubs, mass gatherings are increasing in scale and complexity. In the current global environment the challenges of keeping people safe are greater than ever.
Our short Postgraduate Certificate and full MSc programmes at Coventry aim to provide you with the academic underpinning to analyse the features that make for best-practice planning, policy and process, so that you can go on to devise effective crowded places arrangements of your own.
The programmes cover cutting edge crowd dynamics research, and important legal and socio-political frameworks within crowd safety and emergency management, as well as investigating emerging technological solutions, and the contemporary safety and threat environments that impact on the sector.
The courses also aim to provide an understanding of the issues that underlie many of the concerns faced by crowd safety management practitioners, such as multi-agency cooperation and coordination and business continuity. In particular, you will examine how these issues may be addressed in practice, with a view to enhancing the effectiveness of integrated emergency management and organisational resilience.
Programmes are designed to be full- or part-time, and are designed to be flexible to fit around the demands of a career in the live events sector. Entry requirements include a first degree, foundation degree or Level 5 qualification. Start points available in September, January and May every year. Contact us for more details.
